Simplify your grooming routine with this all-in-one utility bar.
Simplify your grooming routine with this all-in-one utility bar and take care of your cleansing and shaving needs in one fowl swoop. With the ability to function as a shampoo bar, body soap, face wash, beard wash, and even a shave soap. Itβs the kind of product youβd want with you if you were stuck on a deserted island and could choose to take only one thing.
The natural ingredients are gentle enough for everyday use, hydrating for both skin and hair, while still giving you the high performance to generate a rich, moisturizing lather. To shave with it either, work up a lather in your hands, apply directly to your skin and have a clear shave, or whip out your badger hair shaving brush and bowl and have a wet shave.
Itβs a super convenient travel companion when you need to pack light and Tree Ranger is a potent blend of eucalyptus that will have you smelling like you just hiked through a Pacific Northwest forest. In fact you shouldn't leave for your next camping trip, or anywhere for that matter, without this blend in your bag.
Β
Washing Hair
To use Utility Bar as a shampoo, place the bar directly on wet hair and rub to work into a lather. Once a substantial lather has been built, use your fingers to gently massage the soap into the roots of your hair and scalp. Rinse the soap completely from hair. Repeat if needed.
Body Soap
Apply Utility Bar directly to wet or damp skin on desired areas and rinse.
-or-
Use with a loofah or washcloth to exfoliate dead skin cells from your skinβs surface. You can lather the bar directly on the rough surfaces of your loofah or washcloth, then gently scrub your skin, or use the bar first, then exfoliate using circular motions. Rinse when finished.
Beard Wash
Work into a lather in your hands or use Utility Bar directly against the beard to work into a lather. Then, use your fingers to work the soap through the beard down to the skin. Rinse thoroughly. Follow these steps a few times a week and follow up with a moisturizer such as Beard Oil or Utility Balm to avoid drying out the skin beneath your beard.
Face Wash
Wet your face with lukewarm water before applying Utility Bar. Then, either create suds with your fingers and apply soap to face or use Utility Bar directly on your face. Spread the soap to each area of your face using gentle, circular motions for 30 seconds to a minute. Rinse and pat your skin dry.
Shaving
To use as a clear shave soap - when you need to see exactly where to clean up your edges - simply wet the bar, apply to the skin, and shave where needed.
-or-
For use as a creamy shave soap, place the Utility Bar at the bottom of a shaving mug, wet your shaving brush, and shake off any excess water. Next, run your brush over the Utility Bar and apply to face to create a thick, moisturizing lather. Youβre ready for a comfortable, luxurious shave.
Storage Tips
Keep Utility Bar dry between uses. This will help keep the bar intact without cracks and avoid the dreaded soap goo - the soft squishy soap a bar produces if left in wet conditions. We recommend using a soap dish with raised areas to keep the soap above pooled water, or a wire shower organizer to encourage air drying.
You can also blend your old bar once it gets small with a new Utility Bar. You can do this in the shower by creating a lather between the two, pushing them together, and allowing them to dry like this. After a few uses, they should fuse together into one bar.
