A good moisturiser prevents your skin from becoming too dry or oily. This may sound contradictory, but when your skin becomes dry from too much cold air or salty sweat, your body increases the production of skin oils. It often produces too much, and your skin becomes too oily. It's a big see-saw ride, often because of our environments – airconditioned offices, misty jogging tracks and hot showers.

• Your facial skin and other parts of your body are unique, so should your choice of moisturiser be. Always use only a men’s facial moisturiser on your face and neck.
• The recommendation is to use the moisturiser after cleaning your face, which should be at least morning and evening. After showering at the gym, applying the moisturiser will refresh your skin.
