Keeping your beard looking great is a selfless task. Invest some time twice a week and you’ll be sure to reap the compliments. Here’s how.
The best time to trim and shape your beard is after a warm shower. You’ll need a beard comb, scissors and a beard trimmer. First comb your beard to keep it orderly and remove tangles. Then use the scissors to trim away any stray hairs. Trim your side burns and beard with a specialised trimmer. Start with a closer trim of your side burns and graduate to a longer trim over the bulk of your beard. Beard oils are also great for adding fragrance, shine and softness. Sorted!
A beard trimmer is also great for keeping your stubble under control – use it on a low guard setting for the ideal balance between rugged and refined.
If you have a moustache, use specialised trimmers just below the lip line. Use scissors for stray hairs, a comb to keep it orderly and some wax to keep it looking spot on.
